Salon Policies

At Calista Hair & Co, we believe in providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for every client. Our Salon Policies are designed to ensure clarity and courtesy throughout your visit. From appointment scheduling to cancellation procedures, these policies are crafted with your comfort and satisfaction in mind.

Appointment Confirmations

Appointment SMS reminders requesting you to confirm your appointment with us are sent via text message 72 hours prior to all appointments. We ask that you confirm your appointment via text by following the prompts from the confirmation message (the system will ask you to reply "Yes” to confirm your appointment).

Late Arrivals

In order to respect the time of both our clients and our staff, we ask you to arrive on time for your appointment. As a courtesy to other clients if you arrive late by 15 minutes or later we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment.

Late Cancellations

We understand that emergencies can happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you notify us to cancel or to reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. If the booking was made on the same day, please notify us at least 3 hours prior. Cancellations that break these rules will forfeit their 50% deposit.

No show

In the case of missing your appointment, you will be imposed with a fee worth 50% of the missed service. Two or more missed appointments will require service to be paid in full to secure future appointments.

Payment

We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express), and valid Calista Hair & Co Gift Cards.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are non-refundable, cannot be transferred to cash, and must be redeemed by the expiry date. No expiry extension will be given.

Weddings

A payment of 50% deposit is required to secure wedding styling and the remaining balance will be due 14 days prior to wedding. Cancellations made less than 14 days before appointment the deposit will be forfeited.

Service Guarantee

We pride ourselves on providing all clients with fantastic service and quality customer care. We are professional, highly-skilled and experienced, and will provide you with the best hair care services possible.

If you are not satisfied with the results of your salon service, due to a possible error by us, please contact the salon within 24 hours of your appointment. We will ask you to return to the salon for your hair to be visually assessed and have a one-time complimentary adjustment performed within 3 to 5 business days of your appointment. We do not offer refunds on salon services.

Health History

For your comfort and safety, please notify our specialists if you have allergies, any physical issues or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment, please alert your service provider immediately.

Product Exchange Policy

We handle returns and processes in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.

We do not provide refunds for change of mind or any other reason. However if a product is faulty then we will exchange it. This does not apply to electricals such as Hot Tools styling items. Hot Tools warranty is provided by Hot Tools direct and they can't be exchanged in the salon due to concerns with forfeiting.

Right to refuse service

Our salon staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.

Kids in the salon

As we are concerned with you and your children's safety, we strictly prohibit unsupervised children in the salon. In case of emergency situations, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.
